Christmas came early for me when Martin delivered to my office table his gift: a lightbox! To those who don't know, a lightbox is a table with a light permeable top allowing you to put guidelines underneath a piece of paper, making you write in straight lines or slants. It had always been a problem of mine that my practice sheets needed to either have lines or I'd draw on them with pencil. Drawing with pencil left marks on the finished product, making it look not as neat as I would have wanted. This is now a thing of the past with Martin's gift! Being an engineer, he didn't buy the light box but made it himself -- with help from our in-house carpenter Jonathan. Can I just say, it's BEAUTIFUL! Taking it for a dry run I was able to write down a quote i saw on tumblr. Here are photos: my finished product: Trust is saying "God, I'm not going to let this upset me, I know You're fighting my battles and I'm going to stay in peace"
